The Activity seeks to promote space culture in the country through the integration of the State, Industry and Academia.
In the context of World Space Week 2022, an annual event held from October 04 to 10 in more than 95 countries, the FAC Post Graduate School, in alliance with the Space Operations Headquarters and the Colombian Space Agency, joins the celebration with an Academic Activity where the participation of the Astronaut and Pilot of the United States Air Force, Colonel Michael Hopkins, with his presentation Experience as an astronaut in human space flight.
The objective of the Activity is to promote space culture in the country through the integration of the State, Industry and Academia around the strategies developments that led to consolidate Space Power in Colombia. The event is aimed at all those professionals, military and civilian personnel who interact in the field of air and space operations of the FAC and other institutions.
In the academic activity, topics such as Operational development and training in special analogous missions in the FAC, Security System for th development of Aerospace Missions, among others, are addressed. There is in the same way the participation of the girls of the She Is Foundation, as special guests, who were part of the She is an astronaut program.
