The prosecution work was carried out by the National Police and the material found was destroyed in controlled conditions for the protection of the environment.
In interception military operations, troops of the Jungle Brigade No.22, of Jungle Battalion No.51 General José María Ortega, achieved the finding and dismantling of a construction for the production of cocaine hydrochloride, in the village Lagos del tránsito, of Miraflores, Guaviare; this operation was executed thanks to timely intelligence information.
In the place, it was in the same way possible to find solid and liquid precursors for the production of cocaine hydrochloride, including : 50 kg of ammonium sulfate, 60 liters of ammonia, two liters of sulfuric acid, 55 Gallons of DIESEL, 55 gallons with coca in process, a scythe and 25 kg of lime.
It should be noted that this result not only significantly attacks the drug trafficking chain that commit crimes in this area of the south east of Colombia, but also is a serious blow to illicit activities for those structures, who lose about 50 million pesos; it in the same way contributes to the protection of the environment, more precisely to the Amazon region.
The judicial proceedings were conducted by the specialized anti-narcotics Prosecutor's Office 57 in the city of Bogotá.
The Jungle Brigade No.22, continues to conduct different tasks of interception for the fulfillment of the institutional objectives to neutralize all the criminal activities of the different illegal armed groups that attack the human security of the Colombian people and also destroy natural resources.
