In the frame of the activities of international cooperation conducted by the National Army and the US. Army, the bilateral exercise at JRTC took place.
With professionalism and skill, soldiers of the National Army completed the exercise that was held for more than 20 days at the Joint Readiness Training Center (JRTC), in Fort Polk, Louisiana (USA), during an activity of exchange of knowledge and Resources, in which the Colombian group shared knowledge and doctrine with members of the Army of the United States, Mexico and the United Kingdom.
For a little more than three weeks, the soldiers were in a controlled environment taking part in a joint and combined operation, where they reported the execution of different tactical tasks such as operations, defensive, stability and Defense Support to the Civil Authority, which showed the high level of professionalism, knowledge, discipline and experience of our military, under the implementation of Human Rights and International Humanitarian Law.
These trainings are carried out within the framework of the exercise Vanguard of the South, leading through a collective training and certification of interoperability to strengthen bilateral efforts that are part of the XIII Bilateral General Staff Meeting conducted by the Armies of the USA and Colombia.
