We strengthen the rapprochement with the civilians, with a Development Support Activity, carried out by the Infantry Battalion No.16 Patriotas of the Sixth Brigade of the National Army, in the village Las Pavas of the municipality of Villahermosa, with the participation of the Mayor's Office of Villahermosa, Gran Porvenir Mine, Partners of the Colombian Army Foundation, Nueva Granada Military University, Antonio Nariño University, Family Fruit, Honda Chamber of Commerce and the Communal action Board of the village.
In this special Activity, it was sought to strengthen the rapprochement between civilians and our Soldiers, where 43 professionals from different specialties provided medical, psychological assistance, dentistry, optometry, recreational activities for minors and invited artists, where more than 400 inhabitants benefited from approximately 700 services and an investment of approximately $50 million pesos.
The activity significantly helped these inhabitants of the north of Tolima, thanks to the support and work not only for raising security, but for social development by the troops of the Sixth Brigade of the National Army.
