With more than 20 health services, recreational activities and environmental activities, it is planned to benefit more than 2,500 people.
Capurganá, a village in the municipality of Acandí, in the department of Chocó, is preparing to receive the Binational Activity Colombia and Panama, United for Development. This event, led by the soldiers of the Seventeenth Brigade, through a unified operation work, under the direction of the Comprehensive Action and Development Support Command, in conjunction with the Air Force, the National Navy, the Police, the mayor's office of the municipality and the Arturo Calle Foundation, will be held on June 10 and 11.
During this activity, various services will be provided to the inhabitants of this important border area. One of the main objectives is to provide medical assistance and health services to more than 2,500 people, regardless of their gender, nationality or age. In addition, recreational activities will be carried out to promote healthy coexistence and the well-being of the community.
In the same way, an environmental activity will be held, focused on the preservation and care of the natural resources of this region.
This initiative seeks to strengthen cooperation ties between Colombia and Panama, promoting the comprehensive development of the border area. The collaboration of different governmental and non-governmental institutions and agencies demonstrates the joint commitment to improve the quality of life of the inhabitants of Capurganá and promote progress in this strategic region for both countries.
