For a productive Caquetá, the Air Combat Command No.6, CACOM 6, of the Colombian Air Force promotes the support of rural economic reactivation in the Colombian southeast, working in a coordinated manner with public and private institutions of the department.
Thanks to the alliances made from the Integral Action Section of this Air Military Unit, with the Committee of Cocoa Producers, Vision Amazonia, the Institution linked in the sponsorship of the Integral Development Project of the Colombian Southeast, which aims to promote the cultivation, production and marketing of indigenous products of the region, for the benefit of the most vulnerable communities.
As an advance of this project and thanks to the donations made by the strategic allies of Norway, the United Kingdom and Germany, Vision Amazonia held the inauguration in the municipality of Solano, of a collection center for cocoa that will have a construction used for the drying and fermentation of agricultural products, in order to promote the economic empowerment of cocoa farmers and strengthen management within their companies.
During the inauguration of this center, companies from the productive sector, peasants, Vision Amazonas, Livestock Farmers Committee and delegates from the Ministry of Environment, Ministry of Agriculture and the Air Force participated, who will count on air resources to transport the products, taking into account that the region does not have main access roads.
This is how the Institution supports the economic development of the country with its Resources for the benefit of the communities, fulfilling the constitutional mission.
