About 150 men belonging to the National Army's Military Engineer Brigade for Disaster Care and Prevention are continuing their tireless operation to support relief agencies in the different security, monitoring and search and rescue tasks in the area of the tragedy in Quetame, Cundinamarca.
Within the support provided by the members of the Military Forces in this area, there is the work of the trained dogs Shaina and Ulises, who are prepared to provide support for this kind of natural emergencies. In the same way, a drone is used to monitor the flows of the Naranjal and Río Negro streams, the nearby lands that may pose a risk of collapse, and in the same way to help observe the possible presence of missing people.
