More than 160 soldiers with different specialties and with special training will arrive at the department.
The commander of the Third Brigade, Colonel Julio Arturo Pinzón Gutiérrez, made the symbolic presentation of these men to the Government of the Valle, stating that 160 new specialist soldiers will arrive in different municipalities of the department who will constitute the different battalions that work for the security of the inhabitants of Valle del Cauca. These soldiers, equipped with special training and resources in rural and semi-urban operations, will strengthen security in the peripheral areas, ensuring the strategic resources in this region of the country.
The military will be working in different areas, municipalities and strategic points, complementing the tasks that the units have been doing for the safety of the inhabitants. They will in the same way be accompanying the National Police in different places of the department where their support is required.
The security operations that these members of the Military Forces will conduct will definitely be maintained and correspond to the operational dynamics to confront the criminal operations of groups outlaw.
The Government of the department of Valle and other authorities of the department continue to join this effort, with which they have been implementing comprehensive plans in terms of security and protection, whose purpose is to ensure the tranquility of the Vallecaucanos.
