The drug, that would cost more than 3,200 million pesos in the international market, leads to dealing another important blow against this substructure of the Residual Organized Armed Group, GAO-r, so weakening its illicit activities.
In compliance with objective two of the Ayacucho Plan, to weaken the Resources of the threat, Colombian National Army, in coordination with the Anti-Narcotics Directorate of the National Police, found 510 kilos of cocaine hydrochloride that would belong to the GAO-r 39 Substructure Arcesio Niño.
The half a ton of cocaine was found in two vehicles intercepted after information provided by military and police intelligence, on the sector known as Alto de Tivallá, municipality of Puerto Gaitán, in the department of Meta.
The drugs and the vehicles were put into custody of the Specialized Anti-Drug Trafficking Prosecutor's Office No. 57.
