At the village Montebello, in rural area of Cali, Valle del Cauca, men and women of the Air Combat Command No.7-CACOM-7, of the Colombian Aerospace Force, visited the Hermanos Misioneros de la Inmaculada Foundation, Santa Ana Old People's Home, which houses 37 homeless and in a vulnerable condition elderly.
This geriatric home is a non-profit institution that provides support to elderly people through the volunteering of public and private institutions, which, as a social responsibility, contribute to improving the quality of life of disadvantaged communities.
Staff of the Professional Officers Corps of the CACOM-7 Reserve sponsored this old people's home, with the purpose of providing support for some of the basic needs of these elderly, where in coordination with the Angeles en Accion Foundation, made the distribution of food baskets, toiletries, medicines, clothes and shoes, in addition to carrying out recreational activities to work to provide a time of recreation.
With this type of activities, the Colombian Aerospace Force continues to create partner ties with civilians, strengthening the strategic relationship with different social actors, who work for the progress and well-being of the most vulnerable in the Valle del Cauca.
