As part of an operation against the factors of instability in the Caribbean, the Colombian Navy arrested a woman, alleged member of the Organized Armed Group, GAO, Clan del Golfo, who would belong to the substructure Nicolás Antonio Urango Reyes, who commits crimes in the department of Bolívar.
Troops of the Navy Infantry Battalion No.13 and of the Military Gaula (Anti-Extortion and Anti-Kidnapping Group) Bolívar, attached to the Navy Infantry Brigade No.1, traveled to the rural area of the municipality of San Jacinto - Bolívar, attending the call by people who denounced the existence of a gang.
Upon arriving at the sector known as El Bajo there were clashes against members of the group outlaw, so troops arrested a 29-year-old woman in flagrante delicto for the alleged crime of association to commit aggravated crimes.
The arrested woman had apparently been carrying out criminal activities with the Organized Armed Group, GAO, Clan del Golfo for 15 years was accused as one of the most wanted women in the city of Montería. At the time of the arrest, a pistol, 42 cartridges, two magazines, two cell phones and three motorcycles were found by troops.
The arrested woman and the material were put into custody of the Local Specialized Prosecutor's Office against Criminal Organizations of the city of Barranquilla.
