Under Colombian National Army's Ayacucho Plan, troops of Military Police Battalion No.13 of the Thirteenth Brigade, in an operation coordinated with the Metropolitan Police of Bogotá and the Attorney General's Office, arrested alias Beto, who would be the alleged coordinator of narcotics sales in the Isla del Sol neighborhood of the municipality of Tunjuelito.
The individual who had a record for the crime of trafficking, manufacturing or carrying narcotics was found in two search procedures along with an M26 grenade, a revolver-type firearm caliber 38, three pneumatic rifles, a blank pistol-type pistol caliber 9 millimeters and 3,500 grams of coca base.
Alias Beto and the material found were put into custody of the Attorney General's Office.
With this coordinated and inter-institutional operation, the illegal finances of the organized crime groups that commit crimes in the city of Bogotá are being hit.
