At the village of Nazareth in the municipality of Uribia, La Guajira, a Bell-212 helicopter arrived in ambulance configuration, to conduct the aeromedical transfer of the three patients belonging to Cabildo Wayúu, who suffered from different health complications, which were transported to Riohacha, La Guajira.
During the flight, the medical staff of the Colombian Aerospace Force monitored and verified the health status and vital signs of each of the evacuees.
Finally, the patients were given to a more complex medical center in order to be evaluated by the relevant medical specialists.
In this way, the Air Combat Command No.3 in coordination with the National Center for Personnel Recovery -CNRP-, works in assistance of the inhabitants, deploying its Resources to the most remote areas of the country.
