A group of pilots, officers of the Royal Canadian Air Force, visited the Nº 5 Air Combat Command, in Rionegro Antioquia to exchange experiences and learn about the helicopter resources of the Colombian Aerospace Force.
For a week, the Canadian aviators learned about the different air operations and maneuvers carried out by Colombian pilots and crews to save lives through search and rescue missions from UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters, in all kinds of environments, 24 hours a day.
These academic spaces are the product of the understandings signed at the III Bilateral Meeting of Chiefs of Staff held in October 2022, which has led to strengthening the Operational resources of both Air Forces.
In this way, the willingness and commitment to continue promoting reciprocity and the exchange of knowledge with other institutions in the hemisphere is ratified, which contributes to the improvement of procedures and protocols, under NATO standards.
