With the inter-institutional commitment to strengthen the comprehensive well-being of the inhabitants of San Andrés, the Colombian Navy participated in a development support activity, in which about 2,031 people benefited thanks to the joint effort conducted by State, non-governmental institutions and the Colombian Military Forces.
The people attending this humanitarian support activity, whose purpose was to bring the Unified work of the State to these people prioritized and focused by the National Government, receive free medical assistance services with specialists in gynecology, dentistry, pediatrics, psychology, among others.
The civil and military authorities accompanied this activity carried out at the Brooks Hills Bilingual School, where free medicines, clothes were in the same way distributed and recreational activities were carried out for children, young girls and adolescents.
The activity was attended by the Colombian Navy, Colombian National Army, the Colombian Aerospace Force, the National Police, the Adventist University Corporation of Colombia -UNAC - with health professionals, the Departmental Hospital of San Andrés, the Government of the Archipelago and the Professional Officers of the Naval Reserve.
