With the planting of trees, soldiers of the National Army conduct the Artemisa campaign that seeks to reduce deforestation.
In its commitment to preserve natural resources, the Army National inter-agency with the Municipal government, the Company GIZ and the National Service of Learning (SENA), in the facilities of the Twenty-Eighth Brigade, in the municipality of Puerto Carreño, Vichada, strategies have been implemented to generate collective consciousness on topics such as deforestation and the importance of restoring the environment.
These activities are carried out within the framework of the National Government Operation Artemisa, which is carried out in the territories through the Military Forces.
650 trees of different types, native to the region were planted; the planting activities in this area contribute to the conservation of the environment in the fertile lands of Vichada.
Once again, the National Army demonstrates its commitment to the conservation of natural resources as custodians of the environment.
