Meta. In the framework of the 'Diamante Plan', units of the National Navy in a joint and coordinated operation with the National Army and the Police, find and destroy 10 cocaine hydrochloride laboratories, in rural area of the Municipality of Puerto López, in the department of Meta.
With information from Naval Intelligence, the troops of the Marine Infantry Brigade No. 5, soldiers of the National Army and members of the Antinarcotics Directorate of the National Police, arrived at the Cachama village, where they found this important cocaine laboratory. It was divided into 10 rustic structures, with a monthly production capacity of 1,600 kilograms of cocaine hydrochloride.
During the operation troops found in the laboratories, 1,278 gallons of liquid precursors and 150 kilos of solid precursors used for production the alkaloid.
In the same way, troops found two decanting hoppers, two industrial dryers, a hydraulic press, an industrial stove, a compressor, two pumps, two Martians (equipment for fuel refinery), an electric plant, two filtering tables, a washer-dryer, two “worms” of 14 and 20 holes (structures for the distribution of tanks with liquid precursors), a mechanical scale, among other equipment.
These structures would have a capacity to house 20 people who allegedly belong to the organized armed group 'Puntilleros Libertadores del Vichada'. During the operation, no captures occurred.
The structures and material were destroyed under controlled conditions in the place.
