The operations are aimed at preventing crime in several sectors of the capital city of Caquetá.
Caquetá. In order to implement strategies aimed at reducing crime incidence rates, the Urban Special Forces Group of the Sixth Division of the National Army, with the Technical Investigation Corps (CTI) of the Public Prosecutions office in Florencia, conducts these days an intervention in the Eastern District of the capital city of Caquetá.
The operations, which began the previous week with patrols, documents and records checks, checkpoints and volunteer searches in the neighborhoods Rincon de la Estrella, Simón Bolívar and El Ventilador, are aimed at the early prevention of crime in an area where, according to denunciations of the citizens, there is an average of eight to ten robberies in the different modalities each week and 28 cases of extortion under investigation, 15 are “sexting” modality, which refers to the action of sending or sharing personal erotic or pornographic contents through social networks.
This intervention will be extended to the 80 neighborhoods that are part of the Eastern District of Florencia to strengthen security, and contribute to improving the quality of life of the population.
