The individuals, identified as Edwin Arley Linares Urbano, alias 'Gemelo', and his sentimental partner Sandra Rubiela Castillo Guanga, alias 'Liliana', were committing crimes in the municipalities of El Rosario and Leiva, in the department of Nariño, specifically in the hamlet La Tigrera, where the troops of the Infantry Battalion No. 9 'Batalla de Boyacá' found them. These individuals apparently, controlled the trafficking route of drug trafficking. Alias 'Gemelo', second in command of the Commission of alias 'El Higuano', was born in Valle del Guámuez, in the department of Putumayo. It has a wide criminal record in the criminal structure as head of squad, of commission and militia. This individual, 30, would be the executor of the murder of the farmer Manuel Díaz Tirado, in events that occurred on August 13, 2018, in the village El Vergel, municipality of El Rosario, following an order of alias 'El Higuano'.
For her part, alias 'Liliana', 25 years old, was born in Ricaurte, department of Nariño. In the commission of alias El Higuano. He served as a guerrilla fighter, has knowledge in handling of weapons, explosives and guerrilla warfare, she would be responsible for carrying out the criminal intelligence against the Public Force who work for the municipalities of Leiva and El Rosario. These individuals also received money from extortions made against peasants, merchants and farmers in the region, they also carried out selective assassinations, hired killers, drug trafficking, forced displacement and terrorist operations against the civilian population.
