In the place troops found half a ton of solid precursors and at least 3,000 liters of liquid precursors.
Cundinamarca. In the framework of the Diamante Plan, troops of the Infantry Battalion No. 38 'Miguel Antonio Caro' of the 13th Brigade of the National Army, in coordination with personnel of the National Directorate of the Antinarcotics Police, found and later destroyed a cocaine hydrochloride laboratory.
After some months of research and through intelligence work that started north of the municipality of Yacopí, in the department of Cundinamarca, the troops find this huge illegal laboratory in the village Naranjales, in Puerto Romero, in the municipality of Puerto Boyacá, in the department of Boyacá.
The laboratory had three improvised constructions and an illegal hideout, within troops found several elements for the production of illicit substances; a rudimentary machine known as a “gusano” and another known as “Marciano”, two metal filterers, a compressor, an electric pump, a microwave oven and seven gas cylinders of 40 pounds.
In the same way, an important quantity of solid and liquid precursors was found, including 350 kilos of caustic soda, 50 kilos of potassium permangate, 25 kilos of activated carbon, 800 gallons of gasoline, 1,200 liters of acetone and 1,200 gallons of Diesel.
