The route conducted by the officials of the Presidency of the Republic in different municipalities of Caquetá, led to see the progress of works and establish new commitments for the improvement of the Territorial Spaces and the neighboring areas.
In the facilities of the Rural School Serranía, in the municipality of Doncello, in the department of Caquetá, a meeting was conducted by the military authorities, personnel of the verifatcion and Implementation zone of the Southwest (ZOSUO), civilians, governmental institutions and private organizations, as well as the community of the region, especially the beneficiaries of the programs of substitution of illicit plantations and minors of the school.
The works carried out by the military units, among them the Military Engineers Battalion and the Rincon Quiñonez Battalion, were presented to the community. They supported the reconstruction of a bridge that is vital for the community, as well as roads improvements.
Meanwhile, the municipality of Paujil showed the improvement of roads and sewers that contribute to the correct evolution of the productive projects of the region and especially, the raw cane sugar Communitarian Complex, which produces organic panela and is being supported by the European Union and the Portuguese NGO 'Instituto Márquez de Valle Flor'.
Finally, the Stabilization Counselor toured the Territorial Area of Training and Reincorporation, ETCR, Agua Bonita, in the municipality of Montañita, where he visited the facilities of the Humanitarian Demining group 'Humanicemos', in which he met Farc former members who are in training and waiting for the certification to begin demining works. He in the same way had the opportunity to visit the fish farming project, and homemade plantations belonging the members of this territorial space.
