The San Andrés y Providencia Specific Command, through the Coastguard Station of Providencia, the advanced Naval Checkpoint No. 21, the Professional Officers of the Reserve of San Andrés and the Harbor Master's Office, carried out an Activity of Support to the Development, in the Island of Providencia.
The activity was possible thanks to a coordinated work with the Professional Officers of the Pacific Naval Reserve, the Childhood and Adolescence Police, in the Colombian Family Wellbeing Institute (ICBF), the National Learning Service (SENA), the secretary of Health of the Department, the Mayor's Office of Providencia , the League Against Cancer, Aqua Works. S.A and the Naval Social Action.
Specialists in the areas of dermatology, gynecology, chronic disease medicine, family medicine, optometry, pediatrics, dentistry and pediatrics odontology, arrived in Providencia by air and sea, from the city of Cali to San Andres Island, to bring wellbeing to the community of Providencia.
The Activity benefited 400 people with medical services, the distribution of dietary supplements and presents, talks and Institutional services.
