In the municipality of Miraflores, in the department of Guaviare, more than 500 inhabitants of the village Lagos del Dorado benefited with a Development Support Activity, thanks to the operation of the Horus Soldiers of the South East of Colombia.
More than 500 people including children and adults, benefited with free of charge services in general medicine, oral hygiene, psychology, dentistry, cytology, phonology, ultrasound and distribution of medicines valued at more than 10 million pesos, in the village of Lagos del Dorado, in rural area of the municipality of Miraflores, in the department of Guaviare.
Tomaso Yara, beneficiary of the activity, said: "These activities with health services, are practically the only way to receive medical care quickly and with quality, because many farmers do not have the money or support to move to Miraflores or San José del Guaviare to be treated, thanks to the Army for bringing us medicines and doctors, for taking care of us and taking care of the health of the children. "
In the same way, children of the sector enjoyed recreational activities, clowns and distribution of 200 presents in a funny and unforgettable day for them; where at the same time, the Multi mission Heroes of the Battalion of Comprehensive Action and Development No. 4 contributed to improve the quality of life of the minors, through messages of coexistence and highlighting the importance of values and respect.
It is important to highlight that during the activity, the attendees in the same way enjoyed the distribution of free breakfasts, refreshments and lunches thanks to the efforts of the Soldiers and the articulation with participating institutions.
