Army and Prosecutor's Office found 606 kilos of cocaine hydrochloride in Puerto Gaitán, Meta
The narcotics valued at 3,900 million pesos, would go to the department of Vichada to be sent to Venezuela.
In military operations carried out in the framework of the Bicentenary Plan Heroes de la Libertad, the National Army and the Attorney General's Office found 606 kilos of cocaine hydrochloride, three men were captured in flagrante delicto and a vehicle was confiscated.
Soldiers of the Airborne Infantry Battalion No.20 'General Roergas Serviez' and units of the Technical Corps of Investigations, CTI, with intelligence information arrived in the village of San Rafael in the municipality of Puerto Gaitán, Meta, where they found a truck and the three individuals.
When inspecting the vehicle, they found a clandestine hiding place with 606 packages with cocaine hydrochloride.
The three individuals, who apparently belonged to the organized armed group Puntilleros Libertadores del Vichada, the vehicle and the alkaloid, were put into custody of the Prosecutor's Office 37 in Puerto Gaitán, for the crimes of trafficking, manufacturing or carrying narcotics.
