This woman apparently would be member of the Terrorism Support Network (RAT) of this Organized Armed Group.
In compliance with the Bicentenary Campaign Plan 'Heroes of Freedom', troops of the Vulcano Task Force and the Energy and Roads Command No. 1, of the Second Division, in inter-institutional operations with the Attorney General's Office, captured in the municipality of El Tarra, Norte de Santander, alias 'La Negra', designated chief of finance of the 'Héctor' front, of GAO Eln.
The apprehension was possible after a year of intelligence work and thorough monitoring of her illegal operations in the commercialization of cocaine hydrochloride. According to her criminal record, alias ‘La Negra’ had been at Eln for 10 years. She entered the structure in 2009, and since then, her criminal operations had focused on the purchase and transportation of coca base paste and cocaine hydrochloride, thereby financing the ‘Héctor’ front.
In the same way, she is said to collect the money from extortions that were carried out against merchants and guilds of the municipalities of El Aserrío, San Pablo, Mesitas and La Vega, of the municipalities of Teorama, Hacarí and Cáchira.
Alias ‘La Negra’ was captured in a territorial control checkpoint held by soldiers of the Special Energy and Roads Battalion No.21, on the access road to El Tarra, while being mobilized on a motorcycle. At the time of her apprehension, approximately 30 kilograms of coca base paste were found. The woman was transferred by air to the city of Cúcuta, and handed over to the authorities.
