Two structures formed the laboratory where troops found 154.6 kilos of cocaine, damaging their finances by more than 2,700 million pesos.
Under the Bicentenary Campaign Plan ‘Heroes of Freedom’, in a joint operation of the National Army with the Colombian Air Force and in coordination with the National Police, a cocaine laboratory was discovered in the municipality of Arboledas.
The operation, which began with the incursion of troops of the Thirtieth Brigade and the Brigade Against Drug Trafficking, supported by aircraft of the Colombian Air Force, went into wooded areas with National Police units until reaching the Bejucal village , where the two structures that belonged to the 'Efraín Pabón Pabón' front of the Eln Organized Armed Group were found by troop.
154.6 kilograms of cocaine hydrochloride and 305 of coca base paste, were ready to be transported and marketed, but troops found the drug, damaging the finances of GAO Eln, by 2 729 949 800 pesos.
In the place, the soldiers found a great quantity of equipment and machinery such as stoves, precision scales, laboratory, electrical panels, and a total of 712 gallons of liquid precursors and 96 kilograms of solid precursors.
This year, the troops of the Thirtieth Brigade have dismantled 28 laboratories of cocaine hydrochloride.
