In recent hours, the Colombian Navy managed to evacuate a person, who was reportedly hit by a boat while in the Playa Blanca sector.
The emergency reported through the Maritime Traffic Control and System, was immediately attended by a Rapid Reaction Unit of the Cartagena Coast Guard Station, which was conducting security patrols in the insular zone, and moved to the place of the accident, evacuating the tourist to the Gaviotas pier, in the Boca Grande sector, where he was received by the medical staff of the Emergency Regulatory Center - CRUE, who provided him with first aid and transferred him to a medical assistance center for review of injuries.
