The capture is achieved at the time this individual was traveling in a truck-type car, on a public highway in Popayán, in Cauca.
Alias Motorola is considered one of the most wanted drug traffickers in Cauca, known as the “drug Tsar” in that department, he coordinated the cocaine trade conducted by the Manuel Vásquez Castaño front and José María Becerra. He was charged with conspiracy, aggravated rebellion and illegal carrying of firearms, is requested by the specialized Prosecutor's Office No. 11 of Bogotá. The extradition order is in the same way being processed by the United States government, by sending shipments of cocaine hydrochloride to countries of Central America and, subsequently, to the United States. He began as a guerrilla base in the Manuel Vásquez Castaño front of GAO ELN, where he spent 20 years before becoming head of finance for this terrorist front.
