With the aim of promoting the practice of planting trees and taking care of our surroundings and our planet in the new generations, the National Army planted approximately 100 mango trees in the Vetas Central district, municipality of Tibú, Norte de Santander.
The activity was carried out in the framework of the International Earth Day by men who make up the Builders Engineer Battalion No. 50, who with shovels, scissors, rakes and hose on board, carried out in different sectors of the village the planting of the trees.
During the event brochures were given to the inhabitants who were in their homes. In the same way, the importance of conducting and teaching this practice to new generations was explained to them.
