Coordinated operations carried out by Colombian Navy Units and the National Police in the North Pacific, left the capture of the individual alias Salomon, ringleader of a group of the company Néstor Tulio Durán of the Organized Armed Group, Eln, who commits crimes in the department of Chocó.
In the rural area of the municipality of Bahía Solano, units of the National Police and Troops of the navy Infantry Battalion No.23 of the Pacific Naval Force found this 32-year-old individual.
During the search and control operations, the capture of alias "Solomon" and two other individuals, apparently members of this Organized Armed Group, were carried out. Upon noticing the presence of the Security forces they tried to escape. In the same way, war material and communications accessories were found hidden near the place.
Among the material found there were an AK-47 rifle, a 5.56-millimeter pistol, two magazines, 136 cartridges of different calibers, a rifle trigger, a communication radio, two cell phones, a GPS and military accessories.
Alias Salomón was in the ranks of the extinct Farc for more than six years, but he did not accept the processes of the peace agreement and joined the ELN Organized Armed Group, to commit crimes in the municipality of Juradó and Bahía Solano, where he was in charge of controlling drug trafficking mobility routes.
