In a different way, and taking into account the preventive measures to prevent the spread of covid-19, soldiers of the Support Command for Comprehensive Action and Development celebrated Mother's Day.
Gloria Inés Fajardo Guerrero is an old woman who lives in the Arborizadora neighborhood of Ciudad Bolívar, who currently suffers from health complications. As a result of the arrival of the covid-19 in the country and the compulsory quarantine, he has had financial difficulties, food shortages. She also states that she has no one to take care of her and that he has not received any type of aid.
Heeding the call of a journalist who knew the story of Gloria Inés, the National Army and the Suma Organization accepted the invitation to help this old lady and surprise her on Mother's Day, with a heartfelt serenade to pay tribute to her on this very special day that despite the quarantine, we did not let go unnoticed.
With this pleasant surprise, the soldiers of the homeland and the officials of Suma stole hundreds of smiles from this old woman in the midst of songs, joy and happiness.
During the activity, Gloria Inés received in the same way a food basket and that was how she managed to put this moment of difficulty aside for a few moments.
