A soon as the UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter of the Colombian Air Force landed in the San Pedro de Sula, Honduras, began its mission in support of the rescue operations that are carried out in this sector of the country, due to the emergency caused by Hurricane Eta, which left more than two million people hit.
Coordinated the mission, the crew of the metal Angel left the Coronel Armando Escalón E. air Base of the Honduran Air Force, to carry out the humanitarian evacuation of 30 people, of the community of Cedro, who lost all their belongings due to the heavy winds and rains that razed houses, trees, plantations and vehicles.
Its configuration changes, but the intention to provide help and support remains. In this helicopter were in the same way transported five tons of food and water for the inhabitants most hit by this climate phenomenon.
