More than 50 tons of humanitarian aid have arrived at the Aurora International Airport of Guatemala city in an aircraft Júpiter KC-767 Colombian Air Force; in a joint and inter-agency work it was possible to comply with the humanitarian mission, as highlighted by the Minister Counselor of Colombia at the embassy of Guatemala, Fernando Alameda: “we are excited by the arrival of the humanitarian aid that brings the government of Colombia through the Air Force, as they will serve to support the Guatemalan people in this difficult situation.”
In the coming days a Black Hawk helicopter of the Colombian Air Force will arrive in Guatemala to support the inhabitants that were hit by Hurricane ETA.
The Colombian Air Force has made possible the logistical operations arranged by the National Government to materialize the feeling of solidarity with the injured countries in Central America, as well as the regions in Colombia hit by the severity of natural phenomena.
