Thanks to the joint work conducted by the Colombian Air Force, the Colombian Navy and the National Army and coordinated with the National Police, drug trafficking in the south-east of the country received a major blow.
In the Orteguaza River, precisely in the facilities of the Navy Infantry River Battalion no. 33, was intercepted a boat in which it was possible to find approximately 235 kilograms of Coca-based paste.
In this operation were captured five people who were on board the boat, which were transported in a Huey II helicopter of the Colombian Air Force to Florencia, Caquetá, where they will be prosecuted for the crime of trafficking, manufacture or carrying narcotics.
