Computers, desks, chairs and educational material were provided to the school.
In order to compensate the time lost by lack of connectivity and enough quantity of electronic devices to ensure the access to virtual classes in the midst of the pandemic, the National Army, through the Group of Cavalry Guides of Casanare of the Sixteenth Brigade, and in a strategic alliance with the Fundación Recupera Tu Silla (Recover your Chair Foundation), with the Council member Carlos Julio Camelo Suarez and with the civilians, it was delivered the material to recover a school, in the village known as Tacare, rural area of the municipality of Nunchia, Casanare.
In this activity, four desk computers, 15 desks and 15 chairs were provided to ensure the return to education of children and adolescents in this region of the country.
This operation allows children to continue with their education process in primary school and to resume classes such as English, Mathematics, Spanish and Physical Education; processes that were not carried out because of the pandemic. This activity was conducted taking into account all biosecurity standards such as social distancing, the use of masks to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and to protect all children present.
In this way, the National Army ratifies its commitment to the inhabitants and education of Colombian children who, during these times of pandemic, require permanent and unconditional support.
