This individual is the alleged responsible for multiple murders of social leaders and forced displacement in this region over the past four years.
Through military and interagency operations, troops of the National Army along with the CTI (Technical Investigations Corps), captured alias Banano, who would have been a member of the Organized Armed Group (GAO) Los Caparros.
This individual would have been for approximately five years in the illegal group and had a capture order for the crime of manufacture, trafficking, carrying or possession of firearms, accessories or ammunition. As another result of the operation, a 9 mm pistol with magazine, 44 cartridges for it were seized, as well as a considerable amount of cash, a cell phone and 3 SIM cards, with which they would have been coordinating and carrying out criminal operations against civilians and Military Forces.
The criminal acts of alias Banano were focused on Caucasia, Caceres and Tarazá, where through homicides, threats and extortions, he would have frighten traders and inhabitants of these municipalities of Bajo Cauca Antioqueño.
Currently, he was the second ringleader of the criminal subgroup of alias Pipe Pipón, ringleader of the Carlos Mario Tabares Front of the GAO Los Caparros, which commit crimes in the village of Isla La Amargura.
This result was reached within the framework of Operation Agamenón, in assistance to early warnings No. 028 of 2018, 020 of 2019 and 045 of 2020. It should be noted that this year five members of the GAO Los Caparros have been captured.
This individual and the material found were put into custody of the authorities for their respective judicial process.
