With the aim of providing well-being and development to the most vulnerable communities in the municipality of Puerto López, Meta, units of the Colombian Navy arrived with more than 400 medical services, dental services, vaccination, banking and veterinary services, among others, benefiting 250 inhabitants of the Municipality Center Bocas De Guayuriba, who received the services free of charge.
This support activity was carried out in compliance with the Almirante Padilla Bicentenary Plan, through the Comprehensive Action Team and the Marina Stereo radio station of the Navy Infantry River Battalion No.51, and in coordination with the mayor's Office of Puerto López, the police division for children and adolescents and the agrarian Bank.
The activity in the same way conducted a room of awareness and correct use of biosecurity elements to prevent the contagion and spread of COVID-19, in which talks were given and facemasks were distributed. Meanwhile, the navy opened an entertainment space for children, who enjoyed from start to finish with playful activities.
