The Comprehensive Action and Development Support Battalion No.3 in support of the Third Division and Brigade no.29, in coordination with the mayor's Office of Popayán, installed ten playgrounds in different parts of the city.
Colombian National Army continues to work to generate wellbeing for the most vulnerable communities throughout the country, so it generated an alliance with the Social Manager of the municipality and the Ministry of sport and Recreation for the installation of children's games for the healthy recreation of children in sectors that did not have this type of infrastructure.
In this context, the soldiers of Comprehensive Action moved to the neighborhoods María Occidente, Retiro Bajo, Comuneros, Popular, Poblado Figueroa, among others, to benefit about 3,800 people who now have new environments appropriate for the little ones, which consist of two swings, two seesaw and a slide for each park.
This improvement of public spaces in urban and rural areas of the city reaffirms the National Army's social commitment to the most vulnerable communities in search of improving their quality of life.
