These results represent a loss of more than 126 million dollars in the finances of drug trafficking organizations.
In development of operations conducted by the Colombian Navy and authorities of the United States, Honduras and Puerto Rico, it was possible to find 3,759 kilograms of cocaine hydrochloride that were transported in Go Fast boats and an aircraft, apparently bound for Central America.
During the operations it was in the same way possible to arrest seven individuals, including four Venezuelans and one Colombian. In the first operation, units attached to the Honduran Military Forces and the Criminal Investigation Technical Agency, with valuable information of the Colombian Navy, conducted a maritime interception of a go Fast boat 120 nautical miles from Puerto Lempira, in the Gracias a Dios Department in Honduras.
The boat, which was manned by four Venezuelans and a Colombian, carried 819 kilograms of cocaine hydrochloride inside. The second finding occurred seven nautical miles from El Cocal Beach in the municipality of Yabucoa in Puerto Rico, where units attached to the police of that country, in the same way guided by valuable information of the Colombian navy, detect and intercept a Go Fast boat manned by two individuals, who were carrying 1,940 kilograms of cocaine hydrochloride.
The last event took place at an illegal airstrip in the municipality of Brus Laguna, in the Department of Gracias a Dios in Honduras, where units attached to the Military Forces of that country, with valuable information from Colombia, prevent the transport of a ton of cocaine hydrochloride in an aircraft.
