In compliance with the Bicentenary Plan Heroes de la Libertad, the Hercules stabilization and consolidation Joint Task Force, in a joint operation with the Navy Brigade No.4, through pressure, 3 members belonging to the organized armed group, GAO-r, structure mobile column Franco Benavides in the municipality of Boca De Prieta, municipality of Olaya Herrera, Nariño, surrendered to justice.
Upon surrendered to the troops, these individuals spoke on their intentions of reintegrating into civil society and start a new life with their families under the legality and support of the Humanitarian Assistance Group for the demobilized, led by the National Government.
These individuals had in their possession important war material, military accessories and communications, within which there were three rifles, 20 magazines, a hand grenade, three vests, a tactical diver, a communications radius, more than 500 cartridges and two armbands alluding to the GAO-r-e mobile column Franco Benavides.
