In compliance with the Bicentenary Campaign Plan Heroes de la Libertad, the Joint Task Force for stabilization and consolidation Hercules, in development of coordinated operations with the National Police and inter-agency with the Attorney General's office, arrested alias El Gordo and alias El Zorro, alleged members of the residual organized armed group, GAO-r, Oliver Sinisterra structure.
Through intelligence work with the Rapid Deployment Force No.2, the prosecutor's office No.16 and the National Police, the arrest of alias El Gordo, alleged ringleader of Group Gao-R structure Oliver Sinisterra, was made. He has judicial order of the municipal Criminal Court 47 of Bogotá, for the crimes of association to commit aggravated crimes, forced disappearance, aggravated homicide and illegal carrying of weapons; he would in the same way be responsible for multiple threats and extortions against business men mainly in the municipality of La Guayacana, La María, el Recodo, El Pailón and El Diviso.
On the other hand, alias El Zorro, ringleader of this criminal structure, was arrested by troops of Jungle Battalion No.53;M alias El Zorro currently has an arrest warrant in force for the crime of aggravated homicide and association to commit crimes. In the same way, this man participated in the attack on a patrol of the National Police, where a police man died in the municipality El Gualtal, municipality of Llorente.
These two individuals were put into custody of the authority for judicial procedure.
With this result, the armed component of this criminal organization, responsible for homicides, criminal acts and clashes with other structures of drug trafficking, was harmed; in this way the recommendations of early alerts 004 and 044 of 2018 issued by the Ombudsman's Office, which consist in the adoption of prevention and protection measures that safeguard the rights to life, freedom and security of the inhabitants, were complied.
