The minister of Defense, Diego Molano, invited citizens to denounce any vandalism that harms the rights of others.
During yesterday's activity, the Military Forces carried out 91 escort routes, which led to the transit of more than 3,062 vehicles and the transport of 122,480 tons of cargo to different parts of the country.
At the Unified Command Post, the minister of National Defense, Diego Molano, followed the national protest activity, where he affirmed that, with the accompaniment of the Military Forces, "the activity takes place peacefully."
The head of the Ministry of Defense called on those at home and those returning from work or university to continue doing so, because "our Military Forces accompany them."
The Minister emphasized that the blockades are crimes, and so far the protest activities more than 99 in 186 municipalities of the country, affect security, food supply, distribution of oxygen and medicines, and in the same way limit the capacity for economic reactivation.
"We must all condemn blockades and vandalism so that we can move forward, each with the fulfillment of the purposes, but without leading violence, vandalism or blockades that affect security," Molano said.
Finally, Minister Molano, ratified that "the mission of our Military Forces is to ensure that the roads are unblocked and also to contribute to the Attorney General of the National to prosecute those who are committing this crime. Only by working together and in an organized way, those who March and those who do not march, condemning violence and blockades, can we all advance in a society that does not stop and leads everyone to develop their possibilities."
