In support of the health sector, the Colombian Air Force sent a Hercules C-130 aircraft to transport an ambulance from Bogotá to Leticia, Amazonas, which will later be distributed in the municipality of Puerto Nariño.
This mission contributes to improving the conditions of assistance of Amazonian society, which required the vehicle in order to count on immediate reaction and provide emergency support in urban and rural areas.
The ambulance transported by the Air Force is the first in Puerto Nariño.
Thanks to the efforts made by the Amazon Air Group, in coordination with the Military Transport Air Command, from where the aircraft took off to the ramp of the Air Base Colonel Herbert Boy, the transfer was successfully completed.
