In order to contribute to security in the department of Arauca, during the legislative elections this weekend, the Military Transport Air Command, CATAM of the Colombian Air Force, carried out the transport of four boats, in support of the Colombian Navy, from Cartagena to Arauca.
The boats were transported in a Hercules C-130 aircraft from the department of Bolívar to Arauca, with the purpose of strengthening the control and surveillance of the rivers of this region, within the framework of the Democracy Plan of the National Government.
More than 10 hours of work were spent in order to strengthen security in Araucan territory, where the Air Force crews fully fulfilled this important mission.
