In control operations, the Coast Guard of the Colombian Navy reported the rescue of eleven people who had shipwrecked in the Caño de Los Tramposos sector, in the Magdalena River.
According to the information provided by the pilot of the boat, the emergency occurred when the boat was hit by a trunk, which caused the loss of control and subsequent shipwreck.
The Rapid Reaction Unit - URR - that carried out control in the area, detected the boat and immediately approached to safeguard the lives of the castaways, who were recovered of the water. The ship was refloated with security support of the Colombian Navy.
The 11 rescued, six adults and five minors, who were doing tourism in the Magdalena River, were taken to the Coast Guard Station of Barranquilla, where they were given first aid.
