The Colombian Air Force (FAC), respectful of the right of all Colombians to have timely, truthful, clear and objective information, informs:
FIRST: It is not true that the Brigadier General Chief of Air Intelligence of the FAC, has asked for the voluntary retirement of the Institution; officers and non-commissioned officers of this specialty are not leaving in a massive way either.
SECOND: The men and women in the ranks of the Air Force have an unrestricted commitment to the entire Colombian people, framing their operations under the principles and institutional values, safety, honor, courage, and commitment.
THIRD: The Colombian Air Force is characterized by its commitment to the control of airspace, the exercise of sovereignty and transparency in operations in the frontal fight against transnational crimes, making use of air power to fulfill the constitutional mission.
