These explosive devices would apparently belong to the residual Organized Armed Group, GAO-r, Dagoberto Ramos and would be used to attack the Military Forces.
Thanks to intelligence work by the National Army and an inter-institutional work with the CTI (Technical Investigations Corps) of the Attorney General's Office and coordinated with the SIJIN (JUDICIAL POLICE) of the National Police, a search warrant was made effective in a rural house in the Pilamo village, municipality of Guachené, in the department Cauca, where abundant explosive material was found.
22 81 mm grenades, 28 60 mm soltan type grenades and 17 60 mm Comando type grenades were found by troops at the scene, which were hidden in several barrels. In addition, 13 meters of safety fuse, one meter of detonating cord and pentolite were found by troops.
As it could be established, all this material would be used by the residual GAO Dagoberto Ramos to attack the Military Forces in this area of the department of Cauca.
All the material found was put into custody of the competent authorities for prosecution process.
With this heavy result, attacks against our troops are not only prevented, but in the same way possible attacks against the good physical condition of civilians in municipalities such as Toribío, Guachené, Suárez and Corinto, in the north of Cauca.
