This academic event in the same way seeks to raise awareness among students about the relationship between humans and the maritime environment.
On March 29th, the event Secretos en la Profundidad de Nuestros Mares will take place, it is an academic meeting by the Sergio Arboleda University and the Colombian Navy, which will have the participation of experts in submerged cultural heritage issues and will take place in the Main Auditorium of the aforementioned Education Institution.
Since the beginning of time, humans have represented the sea through art, literature, history and painting in multiple environments and boats have been that bridge and that key that has connected land and water.
On this occasion, the alliance conducted by the Sergio Arboleda University and the Colombian Navy is bringing submerged cultural heritage to the classrooms of the academy, in order to encourage university and school students and people to learn about this Colombian Maritime Interest, its importance in protecting it, making it visible and recovering it, as well as the corresponding sovereignty and scientific knowledge about it.
The event will be focused on the panorama of submerged cultural heritage in Colombia of the institutional, academic and civil society, starting from the fact that the national territory is in the same way made up of maritime and river spaces with socio-cultural development.
