After three days of search work, the two bodies were found by troops with the support of the community.
Units of the Colombian Navy with the support of the maritime people found two bodies in the department of La Guajira, where search efforts have been carried out since last Monday, April 17, after having received information about an emergency of a rudimentary boat that left two missing people in the village El Cardón, in the municipality of Uribía.
The bodies were found by troops and by the people in a coordinated work with crew members of the Colombian Navy, the Port Authority and members of the maritime productive groups, who carried out search work to find the whereabouts of two men, an adult and a minor, who would have been left in emergency when they were fishing. The minor was found yesterday three nautical miles south of the place where the incident would have occurred, and the adult was found this morning in Manaure.
The authorities carried out the relevantoperations that led to corroborating the identity of the bodies found.
