17 trainees from administrative areas of the Saravena Regional of SENA visited the Banco de la República Museum and the Luis Ángel Arango Library.
A group of trainees of the SENA (National Learning Service), Regional Saravena, is visiting Bogotá, in order to get to know emblematic sites of the city first-hand, such as the Banco de la República Museum and the Luis Ángel Arango Library.
During their tour by these cultural spaces, the trainees of the SENA had the opportunity to learn about the history of each one of them, share their experiences with other people and interact through playful and recreational activities.
At the Banco de la República Museum they visited the exhibition of the maestro Fernando Botero, and got to know, thanks to a guide, the history of some of his most famous works, as well as the technique used by the artist to create his paintings.
Their visit to the Luis Ángel Arango Library led them to learn that it has more than 2,000,000 copies of books, which are strategically distributed in an area of 45,000 square meters, on six floors and two basements that receive more than 5,000 users a day.
Their tour by the Colombian capital city will continue until Saturday, accompanied by the National Army, with soldiers of the Comprehensive Action and Development Support Command.
